副總統吳敦義外孫機場趕辦護照引發爭議，外交部領務局桃園國際機場辦事處官網26日加註說明，如果國人急需於12小時內出國並有已開票之班機訂位紀錄者，可電話緊急聯繫，提供協助。
因為網頁原本只寫著，該處位於台灣桃園國際機場第一、二期航廈之管制區域內，「並不受理在台國人臨櫃申請護照、簽證及文件驗證」。
外交部今日加註原本就有的緊急措施，如果國人急需於12小時內出國並有已開票之班機訂位紀錄者，可電話緊急聯繫，提供協助。
但外交部也提醒國人，因限於人力及設備，所能提供的協助有限，且護照製作需時，如果同一時間申請人數過多，將無法配合民眾原訂登機時間。
外交部建議國人於出國前，仍應先行檢查護照效期是否為6個月以上；如果發現護照效期不足時，宜儘早至外交部領事事務局、外交部中部、南部、東部及雲嘉南4辦事處申請換發，以免影響個人權益。 (接下一頁)
