蘋果公司本周證實，部分iphone 5s因為製造缺陷導致電池續航時間出現問題。該公司稱，將與受影響的用戶取得聯繫，並為其更換新機。而知情人士則披露了具體的流程。

據美國科技博客9to5Mac報導，蘋果公司日前公布了iPhone 5S召回細節，蘋果將主動聯繫受到iPhone 5S電池故障影響的用戶，用戶也可以與蘋果公司取得聯繫，如符合換機條件，會通過實體店、經銷商和郵寄三種方式為用戶更換新機。
根據華軍軟件園報導，蘋果公司會根據串號確定受影響的iPhone5s，然後通過電話與機主取得聯繫。倘若用戶感覺手機受到影響，但尚未收到蘋果公司的電話，可以主動撥打AppleCare售後電話，AppleCare的客服代表會輸入串號確定是否符合換機標準。倘若該手機不屬於此次召回範圍，客服代表會通過常規程式引導用戶排查故障。
如果手機符合換機條件，AppleCare的顧問可以通關過多種選擇完成換機。可以指定當地的『天才吧』或授權經銷商為用戶換機，也可以直接將新機發送到用戶家中。用戶還會同時收到舊手機的郵寄材料。AppleCare代表還會建議用戶在換機前備份自己的手機。
蘋果公司並未披露具體受影響的iPhone5s數量，但根據之前的報導，數量可能為幾千部。
