南部油桐花提前開　四月可賞五月雪

北部油桐花季節才剛要開始，氣候較炎熱的南部油桐花早已盛開。

高雄市茂林、六龜交界的五公山山區，種植大片油桐樹，是南部少數適合賞油桐花的地點，一朵朵綻放的油桐花自樹梢被風吹落地面，猶如積雪散落，又被稱為五月雪。不過目前由茂林區美雅谷通往五公山的農路正在鋪設水泥，想要上山賞花的遊客恐需須等到本月21日工程完工後才能如願。（劉智維／高雄報導）
