台中市長胡志強今天晚上在電視台接受資深媒體人沈春華專訪，他針對高雄氣爆事件提出建議，認為現階段中央與地方應馬上成立一個對口，每周至少開一次會，處理復健善後事宜，「不管內政部營建署、消防署或防災辦公室，中央總要有個單位，與高雄市有得談! 」

他並指出，中央在第一時間提出的三不政策，難免讓人感覺同理心不夠，但中央並沒有說不幫忙，他替中央喊冤，認為「三不政策是被膨脹了」。
