禽流感風頭過　私宰雞又復活了

嘉義縣政府表示，每逢中元節，民間雞肉需求量大增，不肖業者伺機違法屠宰雞隻，將斃死雞非法流供食用，造成食安漏洞。縣府組成「違法屠宰聯合查緝小組」主動查緝，本月8日於新港鄉一處民宅查獲黃姓業者違法私宰活禽，現場查到雞隻屠體15隻，依違反畜牧法沒收屠體送化製場焚化，並依法裁處2萬元罰鍰。
 
縣府自去年5月起迄今，共查獲9處違法屠宰，裁罰金額計26萬元，其中1場再犯並移送法院辦理。（李宗祐／嘉義報導）
